Andrea Ciccone is the Assistant Vice President for Policy and New Product Development at the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). She has been involved in the planning, implementation, and management of post-licensure programs and other services for physicians at the NBME since 1999. This has included responsibility for the transition of the PLAS program to a national, collaborative model offering assessment products and services to assessment center programs in the United States. She is currently responsible for managing the strategic planning for maintenance of licensure (MOL) initiatives and the identification of assessment resources to meet those needs.
Ms. Ciccone currently serves as the Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Coalition for Physician Enhancement (CPE) and is a member of the International Physician Assessment Coalition (IPAC). She earned a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University in Wilmington, DE.
